- Hasko will compete in the men's pole vault on Thursday, May 26, at 5:45 p.m.

- "I'm very excited for both of these men to represent Salisbury University at the NCAA Championships," said Sea Gull head track and field coach Jim Jones. "Cameron and Rashawn are both great competitors and could be in the mix for the top eight to earn All-American honors. I am so proud of what they have both accomplished this year."
THE HASKO FILE
- Hasko, a sophomore from Branchburg, N.J., qualified for the men's javelin throw finals by recording a mark of 60.40 meters (198-2) at the Eastern Shore Challenge on Apr. 23.
- The distance, good for a personal record and 14th in the nation going into the championships, marked the first time in Hasko's career he cleared 60 meters. Hasko came within five inches of tying the Salisbury school record (60.53m, 198-7), set by Matt McMurdo in 2010.
THE MARKMAN FILE
- Markman, a freshman from Waldwick, N.J., posted the eighth-best national qualifying mark in the triple jump at 14.89 meters (48-10.25) – a personal record – which won him the Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) championship in the event on May 6.
- Markman also won the C2C title in the indoor triple jump in February, setting the school indoor record at 14.50 meters (47-7). He finished 16th in the triple jump at the NCAA Indoor Championships in March, moving up two slots from his 18th-place seeding.
WHAT'S ON THE LINE
- Hasko and Markman will attempt to add to a Salisbury trophy case that already holds 18 individual NCAA national championships.
- SU's last individual national championship came in 2016 when future Olympian Luke Campbell won a pair of NCAA outdoor titles in the men's 110-meter hurdles and 400-meter hurdles.
- An eighth-place finish or higher in their events would clinch All-America honors for Hasko and Markman. The Sea Gulls boast 77 indoor and outdoor All-Americans in program history, including 62 from the men's team.
- Salisbury's most recent outdoor All-Americans are 2018 honorees Donovan Beckett-Simms (triple jump) and Duncan Ferrin (hammer throw).
