NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. – The Salisbury University men's swimming team continued to rewrite the record books with three more program records on day three of the Metropolitan Swimming Conference Championships (METS).
 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Sea Gulls opened day three with a record-setting performance in the 200 medley relay. The team of Dominic Ancey, Dominic Kazzi, Christopher Knorr, and Michael DeSimone broke the record from 2016 with a time of 1:35.11.  
• Knorr finished with a program-best fifth-place finish in the 100 fly with a final time of 50.49.
• In the 100 breast, Kazzi set another program record in the preliminary round with a time of 56.82. Kazzi also set the program record in the 50 breast with his split time of 26.78. Kazzi finished eighth in the finals (58.27).
• After day three, the Sea Gulls sit in fifth place with 432 points.

 
UP NEXT

• The Sea Gulls compete in the final day of the METS Championship tomorrow with preliminary races starting at 9:30 a.m. and the final races at 5:30 p.m.
