The Sea Gulls went 4-7 at home, 4-7 on the road, and a perfect 3-0 in neutral site contests.Salisbury earned its first win in a thrilling overtime game, 82-71, over Hood on Nov. 16. Fifth-year seniors Greg Bloodsworth and Brandon Craig tallied career-highs in the contest. Bloodsworth totaled 33 points while Craig registered a double-double with 27 points and 15 rebounds.The Sea Gulls took home a tournament championship in late December after defeating Hamilton College, 69-66, and Washington & Jefferson, 78-63, to win the Doubletree Holiday Tournament hosted by Albright College.Salisbury claimed its most dominant win of the season on Feb. 2 over C2C opponent UC Santa Cruz, 100-57. Bloodsworth, Craig, Cameron Heard, and Brendan Davis all reached double-digits in scoring and 11 different Sea Gulls notched a basket during the game. Pratt finished the regular season with a 5-20 overall record and enter the tournament having lost its last nine games.The Cannoneers last win came on Jan. 11 against FDU-Florham, 80-70.Pratt is led by junior Patrick O'Gorman and sophomore Cameron Hatcher. O'Gorman currently sits fourth in the conference in points per game with 16.8 while Hatcher sits in eighth with 14.6 points per game. Both were named to the All-C2C Second Team. This is the first ever meeting with the Sea Gulls and Pratt, who will be traveling from Brooklyn, N.Y. The winner of the Salisbury-Pratt matchup will advance to the semifinal round of the tournament and face the second-seeded Mary Washington Eagles.Salisbury is seeking its third conference championship, and first since 2015. The Sea Gulls reached the semifinals last season under fourth-year head coach Mo Williams, and will look to advance once again in 2023. The league's leading rebounder for the second consecutive year (8.6 per game), Oates also excels in the classroom with a 3.68 GPA as a Biomedical Sciences major with a focus on Pre-Dentistry and a minor in Chemistry. The two-time Academic All-District selection has made the dean's list four times while at SU and is a member of the Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society.Fifth-year guard Greg Bloodsworth earned First-Team All-C2C honors after leading the conference in scoring with 17.7 points per game. The fifth-year guard reach double figures in 21 of his 23 games played this season, including 10 20-point performances, and a career-high 33 points against Hood on Nov. 16. Bloodsworth is also the leading free throw shooter in the conference, making 90.7 percent of his attempts at the charity stripe.Fellow fifth-year Brandon Craig earned Second-Team All-C2C honors as the second-leading scorer for the Sea Gulls with 15.4 points per game, which is good for seventh in the conference. He registered five double-doubles on the season, including a dominant 27-point, 15-rebound game against Hood on Nov. 16, both career highs. He also averaged 7.3 rebounds per game, which is good for fifth in the conference. Conference Leaders Greg Bloodsworth leads the C2C in points per game (17.7) and free throw percentage (90.7).Jordan Oates leads the conference in rebounding average for the second straight year with 8.6 rebounds per game. He is also 17th in the conference in scoring with 10 points per game.Brandon Craig is first in field goal percentage with 57.4 percent of his shots going through the basket. The fifth-year is also seventh in the conference in scoring with 15.4 points per game, second in blocks per game (1.4), and fifth in rebounds per game (7.3).Brendan Davis leads the conference three-point field goal percentage, making 49.1 percent of his shots beyond the arc. Davis is also leads the Sea Gulls in assists per game with 2.5, which is good for third in the C2C.
