Women’s Tennis hits double-digit wins in sweep at Rutgers-Camden

Box Score CAMDEN, N.J. – The Salisbury University women's tennis team collected its 10th win of the season with a 9-0 sweep over the Rutgers-Camden Scarlet Raptors on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Katherine Tamesis and Olivia Hall battled in No. 1 doubles but was able to take down Sarah Ahrens and Laurel DiStefano, 8-5.
Evelyn Whiteside and Hannah Carter won their seventh match in a row with an 8-0 shutout over Ashton Sirko and Alyna Cabrera.
Elizabeth Christine and Sarah Cooper collected an 8-4 win in second doubles.
Salisbury overpowered Rutgers-Camden in the singles matches.
Tamesis rolled to a 6-3, 6-2 win in No. 1 singles over Samantha Hoban.
Christine and Carter picked up a 6-1, 6-0 win in second and fifth singles.
Hall earned a 6-1, 6-2 win in third singles against Katie Moore.
Cooper and Leah Osmon swept their respective opponents in fourth and sixth singles.

UP NEXT

Salisbury heads across the bridge to Fredericksburg, Va. to take on the No. 30 Mary Washington Eagles on Wednesday, April 12.
The match is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m.
