ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Triple jumper Rashawn Markman of the Salisbury University track and field teams earned his second consecutive top-10 finish at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships, finishing 10th in the event on Saturday afternoon at the Polisseni Track & Field Complex on the campus of St. John Fisher University.
 
Markman, a sophomore from Waldwick, N.J., used his third and final jump of the day to notch a distance of 14.69 meters (48-2.5). The mark was only two-tenths of a meter shy of eighth place, which would have qualified him for All-America status.
 
Markman has finished in the top 10 in both of his appearances at nationals. In 2022 he grabbed eighth place to become a triple jump All-American.
