STEVENSON, Md. – The No. 2 Salisbury University field hockey program won its fourth straight game picking up a road win 3-2 over Stevenson University Saturday afternoon.
Salisbury (10-1) struck first as
Marli McDorman continued her stellar play scoring off a penalty corner opportunity.
Madelyn Reed sent the corner in finding
Kaitlyn DeModna who swung it to
McDorman for the goal.
Stevenson (9-1-1) tied the game up before the end of the first quarter. They then took the lead not even a minute into the second period.
The Sea Gulls regained the lead before half thanks to two second-period goals from
DeModna.
The teams were scoreless in the second half.
