SALISBURY, Md. - The Team of the Week, presented by Scoutware, is D3football.com's weekly honor roll, in its 26th season of recognizing the top performance at each position from the previous week. Players are nominated by schools.
After gaining his first NJAC Defensive Player of the Week honors yesterday,
Malachi Baker was named to the
D3football.com Team of the Week at the cornerback position.
Baker (So. – Seat Pleasant, Md.) led the Sea Gulls with eight total tackles (six solo) and two interceptions in the Sea Gulls' 52-35 Saturday win at TCNJ to clinch a share of the NJAC title. Baker's five picks are tied for third in the conference.
