GALLOWAY, N.J. - The Salisbury University field hockey program shut out Stockton University 6-0 Sunday afternoon starting the 2024 season with back-to-back road victories.
All six goals for the Sea Gulls (2-0) came in the first half with four in the second period. Salisbury out-shot the Ospreys (1-1) 16-5 for the game putting 14 of those 16 shots on goal. Salisbury earned six penalty corners scoring two goals off those opportunities.
Five different players scored for the Sea Gulls while junior
Kaitlyn DeModna led the way with two goals. Sophomore
Marli McDorman picked up two assists on the afternoon as well.

Salisbury will host Washington (Md.) on Wednesday, Sep. 4th, at 6 p.m. for their 2024 home opener.
