No. 4 Field Hockey soars past Washington (Md.); Hunteman nets career-high

SALISBURY, Md. - The Salisbury University field hockey program saw a career-high performance from sophomore Arden Hunteman who scored four goals in the team's 7-1 win over Washington College (Md.) Wednesday night inside Sea Gull Stadium.

The Sea Gulls (3-0) dominated the contest from start to finish racking up 14 more shots and seven more penalty corners than the Shorewomen (0-2). Salisbury led by three at half and earned a 7-0 lead before Washington (Md.) got on the board in the fourth period.

Hunteman got the scoring started for the Sea Gulls not even five minutes in. She then gave her team a 2-0 lead just two minutes later sending the Sea Gulls soaring for the rest of the game. She matched her first-half performance with a goal in the third and fourth periods. Junior Kaitlyn DeModna helped the offense click on all cylinders by adding two assists.
