SALISBURY, Md. – Competing for the first time in over a month, the 19th-ranked Salisbury University men's swimming team showed no signs of rust, smashing nine pool records and pummeling the Stevens Ducks, 240-58, on Friday afternoon at Maggs Pool.
MEET NOTES
- Christopher Knorr captured five gold medals on the day, including individual marks in the 100-meter butterfly (56.16) and 200-meter butterfly (2:04.05) and in a trio in relay events.
- Dominic Kazzi medaled in three events, taking solo gold in the 100-meter breaststroke (1:04.92) and 200-meter individual medley (2:11.10).
- Brody Hanlon captured individual gold in the 400-meter freestyle (4:13.51) and 400-meter individual medley (4:41.10).
- Owen Brewer garnered four medals, including a solo gold in the 100-meter freestyle (51.93) and silver in the 200-meter individual medley (2:12.31).
- Gabriele Miksa brought home a pair of medals, highlighted by an individual gold in the 200-meter breaststroke (2:28.37).
- In the 200-meter medley relay, the Sea Gulls' B-squad pulled the upset over the A-team, with Mason Potts, Brady Wolf, Knorr, and Kyle Skelly posting a combined mark of 1:43.34.
- The SU B-team captured the gold in the 200-meter freestyle relay as well, seeing Potts, Skelly, Brewer, and Knorr clocking in at 1:35.16.
- Salisbury's A-squad rolled to victory in the 400-meter freestyle relay, with Knorr, Shad Frantz, Michael DeSimone, and Potts notching a 3:31.05 time.
- In total, the Sea Gulls hauled in 38 medals, including 15 gold, 12 silver, and 11 bronze.

The Sea Gulls will wrap up the regular season with a dual meet against Catholic on Saturday, Jan. 25. First events from Maggs Pool are slated for 1 p.m., with Senior Day festivities scheduled to be held beforehand.
