FAIRFAX, Va. – The Salisbury University men's and women's track and field teams continued their great indoor season notching numerous personal bests and podium finishes while at the Patriot Games inside George Mason University Fieldhouse.

Women Meet Notes

• Brooke Hamer earned a 6th-place finish in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.70 seconds.
• In the 400-meter run, Emma Smyser placed 7^th running a time of 1:01.17.
• Karia Forvil snagged a top-10 finish in the 200-meter run with a time of 27 seconds flat which placed her 9^th.
• Leah Snyder and Savannah Trice both set PRs in the 3000-meter run. Snyder earned a top-15 finish with a time of 11:29.74 while Trice came in at 12:48.60.
• The 4x400 relay team of Lilly Williams, Marlyse Haack, Karia Forvil, and Emma Smyser earned a 4th-place finish with a time of 4:13.84.
• The Sea Gulls soared in the long jump placing three in the top four. Marlyse Haack placed 2nd, Mia Hill placed 3rd, and Emma Christman earned a 4th-place finish.

Men Meet Notes

• Andrew Moxley earned a 7th-place finish in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.32 seconds.
• In the 60-meter run, Jacob Shelton snagged 2^nd place by a tenth of a second with a time of 7.05 seconds.
• SU dominated the 400-meter run taking the top three spots and placing four in the top eight. Kai Smith won the event with a time of 49.61 while Dominic Roddy placed 2^nd right in front of fellow Sea Gull Hayden Myers who placed 3^rd. Alexander Nelson earned an 8th-place finish.
• Cormac Moroney earned 8^th place in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:00.44.
• SU also dominated the 200-meter placing three runners in the top-five. Kai Smith once again came out on top with a time of 22.03 seconds. Isaiah Rivera finished 4^th right in front of another Sea Gull in Mason Cassady who earned 5^th.
• Landon Lewicki earned a PR in the 3000-meter run placing 14^th with a time of 8:58.91.
• The 4x400 relay team of Isaiah Rivera, Hayden Myers, Dominic Roddy, and Kai Smith earned 1^st place with a time of 3:22.24. SU also placed another relay team in the top five as Justin Freeman, Nolan Racette, Alexander Nelson, and Graham Schultz placed 5^th with a time of 3:31.82.
• SU placed three in the top eight of the weight throw. Jacob Reeves, Mason Breeze, and Logan Kelsch placed 6^th, 7^th and 8^th respectively.
• Jadon Gaines earned a 2^nd place finish in the triple jump.
• SU placed three in the top nine of the shot put. JJ McCauley earned 5^th place while Mason Breeze and Jacob Reeves placed 8^th and 9^th.

The Sea Gulls return to action on Feb. 8th when they head to multiple locations. The final tune-ups before the Coast-to-Coast Indoor Conference Championships will be at the Frank Colden Invitational and the Big Apple Invitational.
