The 2024 Salisbury baseball team overcame the loss of 14 graduating players to maintain its perch at the top of the Division III baseball hierarchy. The Sea Gulls finished 32-12 and won their fourth consecutive NCAA regional championship, besting Mitchell twice on the final day of the Babson Park Regional. SU hosted the Super Regional round for the third straight year but saw its season come to an end with two close losses, 9-8 and 14-12, to Salve Regina.
Salisbury enjoyed big contributions from a new crop of stars and returning favorites. Outfielders Andrew Kell (.444, 25 XBH, 47 R, 48 RBI) and Tim Petrucelli (.373, 13 HR, 51 RBI) were named Consensus All-Americans, while first baseman Danny Sheeler (.367, 7 HR, 44 RBI), catcher/DH Dylan Winebrenner (.364, 18 XBH, 26 RBI), and second baseman Kyle Brex (.348, 29 R, 13 SB) each picked up All-Region nods, and right-hander Cole Williams (8-1, 3.57 ERA, 43 K) earned Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) Rookie of the Year.
