SALISBURY, Md. – The Salisbury University women's golf team will have its first league home beginning in the 2025-26 season. The Sea Gulls will become a founding member of the Colonial Women's Golf Conference (CWGC), which has been approved as an active NCAA Division III single-sport conference beginning on September 1, 2025.
Salisbury will be one of seven initial members of the CWGC, joining Babson, Carlow, Christopher Newport, Kean, Penn State Altoona, and Stockton. The inaugural CWGC Championship is set to be held on Oct. 26-28, 2025, at the Wyncote Golf Club in Oxford, Penn. Per NCAA regulations, the winner of the tournament will not yet be eligible for automatic qualification into the NCAA Women's Golf Tournament.

The Sea Gulls are one tournament into a slate of five events across the spring portion of their inaugural season. SU will return to the links on Sunday, Apr. 6, with a road matchup against Gettysburg. Salisbury will host its first-ever home event, the Sea Gull Invitational, on Apr. 13-14 at Green Hill Country Club in Quantico, Md.
