PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The Salisbury University track & field program saw multiple personal records along with a school record at the Widener Final Qualifier Monday afternoon, hosted by Widener University.

Anna Bodmer became the first woman in program history to run the 5000-meter run under 17 minutes. Bodmer posted a time of 16:46.36, earning 5th place. Her time broke the school record, Coast-To-Coast Conference record, and placed her 25th in the nation.
Madi Sisson earned a PR time of 18:35.81 and placed 25th. In the men's 5K,
Sam Bodmer placed 38th at 15:24.43.
- The Sea Gulls also saw PRs from
Justin Freeman and Mia Hill. Hill earned the top spot in the long jump with a PR jump of 5.79 meters (19-00). Freeman posted a PR in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:52.44, which placed him 18th.
Alexander Nelson earned a PR in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 54.92, which placed him 8th in the event.

Marlyse Haack and
Emma Christman also finished in the top 15 in the long jump. Hacck posted a jump of 5.33 meters (17-6), earning 8th place. Christman tallied a jump of 5.17 (16-11.5) meters for 12th. Haack and Christman also earned 8th and 9th in the triple jump. Haack earned 8th at 11.04 meters (36-2.75), while Christman finished 9th at 10.86 meters (35-7.75).

Jacob Reeves placed 10th in the javelin at 49.30 meters (161-9).
- In the discus,
Logan Kelsch placed 3rd at 50.27 meters (164-11), while Reeves earned 6th at 46.53 meters (152-8). Both athletes also competed in the hammer throw, Reeves placed 14th at 47.55 meters (156-0), and Kelsch earned 16th at 46.27 meters (151-9).
- The 4x100 Meter Relay team of Christman, Haack,
Lilly Williams, and
Karia Forvil posted a time of 48.02 for 3rd place.

Brooke Hamer tallied 13th place in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:05.75.
- Forvil grabbed 7th place in the 200-meter with a time of 25.32. She also earned 4th in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.56.

Jacob Shelton posted a time of 10.83 in the 100-meter prelims, which placed him 9th, just missing the qualifying mark for finals.
The NCAA Outdoor Championship qualifiers will be announced this weekend, with the Championships being held at SPIRE Academy in Geneva, Ohio, on May 22-24.
