Kelsch earns All-American honors at NCAA Outdoor Championships

GENEVA, Oh. - The Salisbury University track and field program saw Logan Kelsch earn 2nd Team All-American in the discus throw during the 2025 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships at the SPIRE Institute's Outdoor Track & Field facility Thursday morning.

Kelsch, a junior from Fenwick Island, Del., posted a throw of 45.96 meters (150-9), which placed him 14th in the nation to wrap up his 2025 campaign. He now becomes the 83rd All-American in Sea Gull track and field history.

"Logan learned from his experience last year and used that knowledge under cold and rainy conditions," Head Coach Jim Jones said. "Very proud of all he has done this year to win the conference for the third year in a row, and to top it off, as an All-American, shows much of his growth as a student athlete."
Salisbury University is a proud member of NCAA Division III with primary membership in the Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference, along with affiliate membership in the New Jersey Athletic Conference (football, men's & women's swimming) and the Coastal Lacrosse Conference (men's lacrosse). With over 500 student-athletes in 23 varsity sports, SU is recognized as one of the nation's most competitive intercollegiate athletics programs regardless of division, featuring dedicated coaches and staff that foster excellence on and off the field. The Sea Gulls have won a combined 23 team national championships, 24 individual national championships, and 205 conference championships, and have produced 51 Academic All-Americans.
