Track & Field tallies 20 USTFCCCA Outdoor All-Region honors

NEW ORLEANS – All-Region honors for the 2025 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field season have been announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) following the conclusion of the regular season. 

Top-5 individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region honors, in addition to each of the members of a top-3 ranked relay team. The Sea Gulls tallied a total of 20 student-athletes on the All-Region list

On the men's side, Jadon Gaines (High Jump), Logan Kelsch (Discus), Alexander Nelson (400-meter hurdles), Jacob Reeves (Discus), Gavin Shaffer (110-meter hurdles), along with both 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams, all earned All-Region. The 4x100 team consisted of Jacob Shelton, Mason Cassady, Aaron Dufresne, and Kai Smith, along with the 4x400, which included Justin Freeman, Hayden Myers, Isaiah Rivera, and Kai Smith

Men's All-Region Notes
- Gaines, the freshman from White Hall, Md., earned gold in the high jump at 1.88 meters (6-02.00) at the C2C Outdoor Championships.
- Kelsch, a junior from Fenwick Island, Del., posted a throw of 45.96 meters (150-9), which placed him 14th in the nation to wrap up his 2025 campaign. He now becomes the 81st All-American in Sea Gull track and field history. 
- Nelson, the freshman from Snow Hill, Md., earned a PR in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 54.92, which placed him 8th in the Widener Final Qualifier. He also grabbed 3rd at 56.95 during the C2C Outdoor Championships.
- Reeves, the junior from Hollywood, Md., posted a throw of 45.41 meters (148-11) for 3rd at the C2C Championships. 
- Shaffer, the junior from Timonium, Md., 5th in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 14.75 at the Dalton Ebanks Invitational
- SU earned gold in the 4x400 relay at the C2C Outdoor Championships.

On the women's side, Mia Hill (Long Jump), Anna Bodmer (5000-meter), Karia Forvil (100-meter), and the 4x100-meter relay team of Emma Christman, Karia Forvil, Marlyse Haack, and Lilly Williams all earned All-Region honors. 

Women's All-Region Notes
- Hill, the junior from Tabernacle, N.J., earned the top spot in the long jump with a PR jump of 5.79 meters (19-00) at the Widener Final Qualifier. She also set a C2C meet record in the long jump, earning 1st place at 5.78 meters (18-11.75).
- Bodmer, the junior from Dickerson, Md., became the first woman in program history to run the 5000-meter run under 17 minutes. Bodmer posted a time of 16:46.36, earning 5th place. Her time broke the school record and the Coast-To-Coast Conference record.
- Forvil, the junior from Pocomoke City, Md., earned 4th in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.56 at the Widener Final Qualifier. She also tallied a time of 12.18 in the 100-meter dash for a school record at the C2C Outdoor Championships. 
- The 4x100 relay team posted the school record in the 4x100 relay with a time of 47.81 at the C2C Championships. The team also earned Bronze at the Penn Relays.
