Field Hockey – 4th | Penn Monto/NFHCA Division III Coaches Poll, Sept. 16
Salisbury dropped two spots from second to fourth, earning 415 points to slot just between third-ranked Johns Hopkins (418) and ahead of fifth-ranked Williams (398).
The Sea Gulls went 1-1 over the past week, dropping a last-minute heartbreaker at then-No. 6 Johns Hopkins 3-2 on Wednesday before rebounding to shut out St. Mary's (Md.) 3-0 on Saturday.
Alex Kupper and
Kaitlyn DeModna posted two-goal efforts on Wednesday and Saturday, respectively.
SU continues a four-game homestand against Stevenson on Wednesday at 6 p.m. before hosting a top-10 showdown against No. 10 Shenandoah on Saturday at 1 p.m.

Salisbury climbed one slot up to seventh with 438 points, overtaking eighth-ranked Hardin-Simmons (437) and sitting behind sixth-ranked Mary-Hardin Baylor (455).

SU is idle this week and will wrap up the nonconference portion of its schedule at Catholic on Saturday, Sept. 27 at 1 p.m.
Volleyball – RV | AVCA/TARAFLEX Division III Poll, Sept. 16
Salisbury earned 10 votes to stay in the spotlight, one spot above Calvin (9) and just behind St. Benedict (Minn.) [13].
The Sea Gulls went 2-1 for a third straight weekend, bookending a quad-match at Scranton with a pair of 3-1 wins over Cortland on Friday and Middlebury on Saturday while dropping a 3-2 decision to hosts Scranton early Saturday.
Julie Altieri surpassed 2,000 assists for her career in the Scranton match, becoming the sixth setter in Salisbury history to reach the plateau.
SU will play five matches in the coming week, starting with a home bout against St. Mary's on Wednesday at 7 p.m. The Sea Gulls will then play in the Kean Invitational in Union, N.J., playing two matches on Friday (Alfred, Drew) and two on Saturday (Kean, Hunter).
