Women’s Tennis serves up 2026 slate

Sea Gulls host seven straight to start, beginning Feb. 14 with Stevens

SALISBURY, Md. – The Salisbury University women's tennis team spotlighted its schedule for the 2026 spring season on Wednesday. The Sea Gulls will play eight of their 16 regular season matches at home, including seven straight at the SU Indoor and Outdoor Tennis Center to open the calendar.

SU will face a pair of opponents during its opening weekend on Feb. 14-15, welcoming Stevens and Goucher to town on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. The Sea Gulls will then host Catholic on Sunday, Feb. 22, and play a month-splitting weekend against Shenandoah on Saturday, Feb. 28, and Albright on Sunday, Mar. 1.

March continues with two more home matches against Methodist (Mar. 6) and Gettysburg (Mar. 8), the latter of which will serve as the team's Senior Day. SU will then touch down in Oregon for a Spring Break trip to face Puget Sound (Mar. 16), Willamette (Mar. 17), Lewis & Clark (Mar. 18), and Pacific (Mar. 20).

Salisbury closes out March at home against Williams (Mar. 25) and on the road at Bryn Mawr (Mar. 28). The calendar turns to April with three straight road fixtures at Washington College (Apr. 2), Mary Washington (Apr. 22), and Christopher Newport (Apr. 25). The Sea Gulls will then close out the regular season at home against UC Santa Cruz on Thursday, Apr. 30.

The Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) Women's Tennis Tournament will be held from Friday through Sunday, May 1-3, on the campus of the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Va.

Salisbury women's tennis opens a new era in 2026 with the arrival of first-year head coach Tyler Linscott, who was hired following the retirement of Randy Halfpap after 26 years leading the program. Returning into the fold are two-time First-Team All-C2C singles honoree Gibelle Beaujon and a two-time all-league doubles pair in Beaujon and Olivia Hall. The Sea Gulls also welcome junior transfer Cleo Solomon from St. Mary's (Md.); Solomon is the reigning United East Player of the Year after earning First-Team All-United East laurels in singles and doubles in 2025.
