Men’s Golf secures bronze at E’Town Spring Invite

HERSHEY, Pa. – The Salisbury University men's golf team secured another podium finish by tying for third at the Elizabethtown Spring Invitational on Thursday afternoon at Hershey Country Club.
 
The Sea Gulls shot a 37-over 321 for the day, equaling Moravian for the bronze and finishing just three strokes back of Dickinson (318) for second. McDaniel (307) sat atop the full field of 12 teams.
 
ROUND NOTES
  • Ryan Henneman took home a silver medal by tying for second in the individual field of 64, shooting a four-over 75 that was just two strokes back of Ethan Crabb of McDaniel at the top of the leaderboard.
  • Alex Langford and Colton Thomas each shot a nine-over 80 on the day, good for a tie for 15th.
  • Gage Bandy sat in a 34th-place tie with a 15-over 86 on the day.
  • Cameron Nicholson started but withdrew from the round due to injury.
 
The Sea Gulls will now turn their attention to defending home turf at the inaugural Sea Gull Invitational, set to be held on Saturday and Sunday, Apr. 11-12 at Green Hill Country Club in Quantico. This will be the SU golf program's first-ever home event in the modern era after last year's tournament was rained out.
