Men’s Golf wraps season seventh at F&M Invitational

Sea Gulls climb three slots in final round of spring

LITITZ, Pa. – The Salisbury University put a lid on its spring season with a strong bounce-back round to finish off the Franklin & Marshall Spring Invitational on Monday afternoon at Bent Creek Country Club.

The Sea Gulls chopped 13 strokes off their total from round one to round two, posting a 28-over 312 over the final 18 holes for a total mark of 69-over 637. SU climbed from 10th to seventh in the field of 15 teams, finishing one stroke better than eighth-place Lancaster Bible (638), one back of the sixth-place F&M C-side (636) and only three behind fifth-place Alvernia (634).

ROUND NOTES
  • Ryan Henneman clawed his way into the top 10 with a two-over 73 on the day, birdying the eighth, 12th, and 17th holes and improving six strokes from his Sunday card. Henneman's 10-over 152 for the weekend tied him for ninth in the field of 78 individuals, giving him a sixth top-10 finish this season.
  • Colton Thomas improved five strokes with a six-over 77, including three birdies, and finished tied for 26th at a 17-over 159.
  • Cameron Nicholson joined Thomas in a 26th-place tie with a 17-over 159 after carding a 10-over 81 on Monday.
  • Evan Oglesby lowered his mark by five strokes with a 10-over 81. He tied for 49th with a 25-over 167 across the 36 holes.
  • Parker Pruitt posted SU's drop score at 14-over 85, still a four-stroke improvement from round-to-round and good for an overall 32-over 174 that slotted in a tie for 61st.

With the spring calendar in the books, the Sea Gulls have now wrapped up the 2025-26 season, their second of the varsity program's modern era.
