CARLISLE, Pa. – The Salisbury University men's golf team teed off on the 2026 fall calendar by entering the clubhouse tied for 15th after round one of the two-day Dickinson Fall Invitational on Sunday at Carlisle Barracks Golf Club.
The Sea Gulls carded a 15-over 303 over the season's first 18 holes, good for a 15th-place tie with the Catholic B-team in the crowded field of 26 quintets. SU finished the day one back of 14th-place Stevenson (302) and three back of Lancaster Bible (300) for 13th, edging out 17th-place Lycoming (304) and 18th-place Lebanon Valley (305).
ROUND NOTES
- Parker Pruitt shot the best round of his collegiate career with an even-par 72, carding four birdies and four bogeys distributed evenly across the front and back nines. Pruitt sits tied for 16th in the field of 137 individuals.
- Ryan Henneman matched Pruitt in 16th with his own even-par 72, notching five birdies and five bogeys.
- Vincent Diglio carded a seven-over 79 with a trio of birdies, tying for 91st on the leaderboard.
- Gage Bandy and Jack Laur matched each other with eight-over 80s to place 105th halfway through the tournament. Laur was particularly strong early in the morning, registering five of his seven birdies on the front nine.
The Sea Gulls will finish off their first fall event with round two of the Dickinson Fall Invitational on Monday morning, with tee time slated for 9 a.m.
