FREDERICK, Md. - The Salisbury University men's
tennis team made short work of Capital Athletic Conference opponent
Hood College on Tuesday afternoon as the Sea Gulls glided to a 9-0
sweep of the Blazers.
Salisbury (12-3, 4-1 CAC) was without the services of sophomore
Matt Nicholson and junior Brendan
Kincaid for the day as freshmen Scott
Burtzlaff and Evan Thomas took over the
top two singles spots and rolled to straight set victories.
Burtzlaff and Thomas later teamed up in doubles competition as
the two won 8-0 over the top Hood (5-8, 1-3 CAC) pair of Mogo Nkate
and Carlos Funes, 8-0, to improve to 13-2 overall and 5-0 in
conference play.

Felikson and Chris Haines and freshman
Jason Williams all won their singles matches.
The Sea Gulls return to the court at 3:30 p.m., Thursday, April
5, as they host Haverford in a Atlantic South regional match at the
SU Tennis Complex.
