ORLANDO, Fla. – The Salisbury University men's tennis team stumbled 5-4 to the Luther Norse in the opening match of its spring break trip to the USTA National Tennis Center in Orlando.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Mitchell Desman and Gavin Reagle collected an 8-2 win in No. 3 doubles over Joaquim Fernandes and Francisco Navarrete.
- Gianluca Beaujon cruised to a 6-2, 6-4 sweep over Fernandes in No. 3 singles.
- Luke McMullen and Christopher Catan each battled back from dropping the second set in fourth and fifth singles to pick up the win in the third-set tiebreaker. McMullen earned a 6-3, 5-7, 15-13 win over Luke Westholder in fourth singles. Catan notched a 6-1, 5-7, 10-7 victory over Eli Young in fifth singles.
