SALISBURY, Md. = The Salisbury University men's tennis team was upended in its first outdoor match of the 2022 season, 8-1, to the Stevens Ducks on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The doubles matches were tightly contested but Stevens grabbed the early 3-0 advantage. Luke McMullen and Gavin Reagle battled but fell 8-6 in No. 2 doubles against Marc Feliu and Troy Zhang.
- Brad Pappalardo took his No. 1 singles opponent, Keegan Morris, to three sets. After dropping the first set 6-2, Pappalardo roared back in the second set, 6-3, but the third set went against Pappalardo as Morris took the match 6-2, 3-6, 6-3.
- McMullen drooped the first set, 6-4, but stormed back to win No. 5 singles over Matt Luzzi, 4-6, 6-4, 10-8.

- Salisbury will wrap up its six-match homestand on Saturday, March 12 against Johns Hopkins.
- The match is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
