SALISBURY, Md. – The Salisbury University men's tennis team dropped a 7-2 decision to the 19th-ranked Mary Washington Eagles in a Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) matchup on Tuesday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Russell Willenborg faced match point in the second set with a 5-2 deficit to Cole Tecce in third singles. But, Willenborg stormed back to force the third-set tiebreaker and took the match, 3-6, 7-5, 10-6.
- Christopher Catan also came back from a first-set loss to Nick Spera to take the win a marathon second-set and win the match, 3-6, 7(12)-6, 10-4.
UP NEXT
- Salisbury will finish the home slate of 2022 on Thursday, April 21 against the Washington & Lee Generals.
- The match is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m.
