SALISBURY, Md. – The Salisbury University men's soccer team uncorked its schedule for the 2025 season on Thursday morning. The Sea Gulls will play seven of their 18 regular season matches at home, including three straight at the Gerry DiBartolo Sea Gull Soccer Complex to open the campaign.
The new season kicks off with the annual Elmer Lord Memorial Tournament on Aug. 29-30. Salisbury will square off against York (Pa.) on Friday at 2 p.m. and Ursinus on Saturday at 3 p.m. The Sea Gulls then turn the calendar to September with a Wednesday, Sept. 3 home bout against Dickinson at 4 p.m.
SU will battle Lynchburg and Washington College in St. Mary's City, Md., on Sept. 6-7, followed by a home tilt with Messiah on Sept. 13. Salisbury then hits the road for six straight matches, facing Rutgers-Camden (Sept. 17), Rowan (Sept. 20), St. Mary's (Md.) [Sept. 24], Carnegie Mellon (Sept. 27), Mount Union (Sept. 28 in Pittsburgh, Pa.), and Catholic (Oct. 1).
Youth Day at the DiBartolo Complex is set for the Saturday, Oct. 4 contest against Regent, with kickoff scheduled for 1 p.m. Following an Oct. 8 visit to Johns Hopkins, the Sea Gulls are back on the Peninsula for Homecoming against Mary Washington on Saturday, Oct. 11.
The Mary Washington battle is the first of four straight against Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) rivals to close the regular season. SU pays visits to Christopher Newport (Oct. 18) and Mary Washington (Oct. 25), and the final fixture of the year will be the team's Senior Day against CNU on Nov. 1.
Salisbury heads south the next week for the C2C Tournament. Two first-round matchups are planned for Thursday, Nov. 6, with the two semifinal contests slated for Friday, Nov. 7, and the championship set for Sunday, Nov. 9.
The Sea Gulls are coming off a 2024 season that saw them go 5-7-5 against a strength of schedule ranked top-10 in NCAA Division III. SU will return a trio of All-C2C selections in 2025, including first-team forward
Gavin Miller and second-team midfielders
Tristan Brannock and
Jack Schwarz.
