SALISBURY, Md. - The Salisbury University track and field teams pulled back the curtain
on their 2025-26 indoor and outdoor schedules on Tuesday. The Sea Gulls will compete in 16 events across six months beginning in December and ending in May.
The season kicked off on Dec. 6th when the Sea Gulls traveled to Newport News, Va. to compete in the CNU Holiday Open.
Anna Bodmer continued her run of dominance, setting new school records in the 1-mile and 3000-meter events. After the Christmas break, the season cranks back up on the last full weekend in January. SU will travel to Fairfax, Va. for the Patriot Games.
On the first weekend of February the Sea Gulls will have select athletes traveling to New York to compete in the Big Apple Invitational while others will be in Collegeville, Pa. at the Frank Colden Invitational.
After those final tune-ups, it's on to the Coast-to-Coast Indoor Conference Championships on Feb. 20th and 21st in Newport News, Va. The indoor season completes with the All-Atlantic Region meet in Ithaca, N.Y. on March 6th and 7th followed by the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships in Birmingham, Al. on March 13th and 14th.
The outdoor season gets rolling on home turf for the Sea Gulls as they are set to host the Lloyd Sigler Spring Meet on March 7th at 11 a.m. at the SU Track & Field Complex. The following weekend, SU will travel to Myrtle Beach S.C. for the Myrtle Beach Collegiate Challenge on March 13th and 14th. The last meet in March the Sea Gulls head back to Newport News, Va. for the Blue & Silver Challenge.
Salisbury will host Senior Day and Alumni Day on April 18th at the Eastern Shore Challenge at 11 a.m. at the SU Track & Field Complex before heading to the Penn Relays on April 23rd-25th where the team has had great success. May starts championship season with the Coast-to-Coast Outdoor Conference Championships on the 1st and 2nd back at CNU.
The 2024-25 Salisbury Track & Field season will wrap up at the NCAA Division III Outdoor National Championships in La Crosse, Wi. on May 21st-23rd.
