SALISBURY, Md. – One Salisbury University student-athlete procured Jersey Mike's A Sub Above Players of the Week honors with weekly honors from the Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C), with
Abby Plaugher taking home women's basketball's top honors for the extended holiday week.

Plaugher (Jr. – Landsdale, Pa.) provided muscle on both ends of the court for the Sea Gulls, averaging 11 points and eight rebounds to power SU to a pair of wins in Puerto Rico. On Dec. 28 against Western Connecticut State, she matched a team high with 14 points on 5-of-10 shooting and hauled in five boards in a 70-58 triumph. Then on Dec. 29 against King's (Pa.), Plaugher netted eight points with 11 rebounds and sank four free throws in the final 21 seconds to help put a 56-53 Salisbury victory on ice. Plaugher ranks second on the team and third in the conference in scoring average (14.5), as well as third in the league in three-point shooting rate (.412) and top-15 in rebounding (5.4) and field goal percentage (.392).
