Men's Lacrosse – 2nd | USILA Division III Top 20, Feb. 9
Salisbury reinforced its hold on No. 2 with 509 points and three first-place votes, trailing only Tufts' 537 points (24 first-place votes) on the rolls. Christopher Newport (480), RIT (458), and Bowdoin (412) stayed pat in the top five.
The Sea Gulls won their first two games of the season in easy fashion, downing Eastern 19-6 last Monday and Grove City 24-9 on Saturday. Attackman
Connor Herraiz earned his first career Coastal Lacrosse Conference (CLC) Offensive Player of the Week award on the back of a four-goal, nine-assist week.
SU closes out a three-game road stretch to begin the season on Saturday with a visit to Scranton for a 1 p.m. face-off.
Men's Track & Field – 13th | USTFCCCA Indoor Track & Field Rating Index, Feb. 10
Salisbury catapulted to 13th in the sport's analytical rankings with 43.07 points, rising 37 points from the previous poll and landing between No. 12 MIT (67.07) and No. 14 Bethel (Minn.) [38.87].
The Sea Gulls saw a big jump in the rating index thanks to
Kai Smith (200 meters, 60 meters) and
Gavin Shaffer (60 hurdles), who turned in a trio of stellar performances at the Big Apple Invitational in New York City on Saturday. Smith's program-record times in both of his events earned him Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) and NCAA Division III National Athlete of the Week laurels.
SU now readies for the 2026 C2C Indoor Championships, set to be held in Newport News, Va. on Feb. 20-21.
Men's Swimming – 18th | CSCAA Division III Top 25, Feb. 2026
Salisbury maintained hits foothold in the coaches' poll with 133 points, taking the slot between 17th-ranked UC Santa Cruz (146) and 19th-ranked Hope (116).
With the regular season complete, the Sea Gulls will chase New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) glory at the four-day 2026 NJAC Swimming & Diving Championships, which begin on Thursday at 6 p.m. in Hampton, Va.
Women's Swimming – 24th | CSCAA Division III Top 25, Feb. 2026
Salisbury is ranked in the coaches poll for the third straight month with 29 points, landing between No. 23 Hamilton (41) and No. 25 Middlebury (12).
The Sea Gulls will take aim at back-to-back conference titles at the 2026 NJAC Swimming & Diving Championships; the first of four days of competitions in Hampton, Va. is set for Thursday at 6 p.m.
