NEW ORLEANS – The Salisbury University men's and women's cross country teams, plus women's runner
Anna Bodmer and
Madi Sisson along with men's runners
Austen Cave, Tristan Dutton, Connor Kinch, Landon Lewicki, Cormac Moroney, and
Gabe Riling garnered 2025 NCAA Division III All-Academic honors, as revealed by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
Both teams cleared the necessary 3.10 cumulative grade point average to earn team laurels. The women's team clocked in with a 3.63 team GPA, while the men posted a 3.52 team GPA. Each athlete qualified for individual recognition by recording GPAs of at least 3.30 and finishing in the top quarter of the field at their regional meet in November.
Bodmer, a junior English major from Dickerson, Md., finished 10th at the Mid-Atlantic Regional race in Newville, Pa., earning All-Region honors with a time of 22:02.7. She qualified for the NCAA Championship race as an individual at-large selection. Bodmer, along with earning All-Region, posted a personal record time of 21:26.1 for 2
nd place and First Team All-Conference honors at the C2C Championships. She also finished the NCAA Championships as the Conference's top finisher. Sisson, the senior Education major from Downers Grove, Ill., took home 46
th with a time of 23:28.35 at the Mid-Atlantic Regional race and earned 17
th with a time of 23:05.4 at the C2C meet.
Cave, the senior Exercise Science major from Delmar, Md., earned a 24th-place finish with a time of 25:59.05 at the Regional meet for All-Region honors after a 5
th place with a time of 25:03.0, which was a personal best and earned First Team All-Conference at the C2C meet. Dutton, the senior Education major from Bishopville, Md., earned Second team All-Conference honors with a time of 25:29.1. Kinch, the senior Biology major, finished right behind him in 26
th with a time of 26:06.4 at the C2C meet. Lewicki, the senior Business major from Dover, De., rounded out the top 25 in 25
th with a time of 26:03.1 at the C2C's. Moroney, the sophomore Business major from New Market, Md., placed 8
th with a time of 25:09.2. He also earned First Team All-Conference and a personal record before going on to earn All-Region honors. Riling, the sophomore Biology major, earned 11
th place and Second Team All-Conference with a personal best time of 25:23.9 at the C2C meet.
