SALISBURY, Md. – Three Salisbury University student-athletes reeled in Jersey Mike's A Sub Above Players of the Week via weekly recognition from the Coastal Lacrosse Conference (CLC) and Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C).

Blake Malamphy secured CLC Defensive Player of the Week laurels, while women's lacrosse's
Miranda Mears and
Regan McDonnell gave SU another sweep of the C2C honor roll.
Blake Malamphy | CLC Defensive Player of the Week | Second Career (First This Season)
Malamphy (Sr. – Annapolis, Md.) ran roughshod at the dot for the fifth-ranked Sea Gulls in their 10-7 victory over sixth-ranked York (Pa.) on Saturday, winning 17-of-20 face-offs to go along with 11 ground balls. Malamphy also dished out a career-high two assists.
Miranda Mears | C2C Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week | Second Career (First This Season)
Mears [Sr. – Salisbury, Md. (Parkside HS)] registered eight goals over the third-ranked Sea Gulls' two wins for the week. On Wednesday at Messiah she netted a hat trick, including the game-winner to provide the difference in a 12-11 victory. Then on Saturday against Shenandoah Mears notched a season-high five tallies on just six shots, leading the team in goals and points as part of an 18-6 romp.
Regan McDonnell | C2C Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week | Fourth Career (First This Season)
McDonnell (Jr. – Severna Park, Md.) won 14 draw controls across the Sea Gulls' two wins, corralling six at Messiah and eight against Shenandoah. McDonnell also accumulated four goals, one assist, one ground ball, and one caused turnover over the pair of contests, scoring all four of her goals against Shenandoah to trail only Mears in the final box score.
