Box Score BAYONNE, N.J. – The Salisbury University men's tennis team couldn't withstand the singles depth of Stevens, bowing to the Ducks 4-3 on Saturday afternoon at Bayonne Tennis Courts.
MATCH NOTES
- The Sea Gulls earned the doubles point with victories in the top two bouts. Gurv Suri and Aron Bursztyn in first doubles and Nicholas O'Dea and Bobby Stabile in second doubles each won by 6-3 scores.
- Suri made it a perfect day by taking first singles in straight sets, 7-6 (7-5), 6-2.
- Stabile also completed the daily double, winning fourth singles by a 6-2, 7-6 (7-5) line.
- The Ducks rallied to take the other four singles fixtures, however, to take the match.
The Sea Gulls will wrap up their Big Apple swing by visiting No. 23 NYU on Sunday. First serve from Stadium Tennis Center in The Bronx is pegged for 1 p.m.
