DOVER, Del. - Salisbury University junior forward Kylie Hall pushed her double-double streak to four consecutive women's basketball games Wednesday as the Sea Gulls dropped a 67-50 decision to Capital Athletic Conference foe Wesley College at Wentworth Gymnasium.

Hall notched her fifth double-double of the season behind 14 points and a game-high 15 rebounds. The forward's performance gives her 57 rebounds and 52 points in the past four contests. Freshmen guards Glen Charlton (12 points, three rebounds) and Katharine Curran (nine points, eight rebounds) paced SU in the backcourt.

The Sea Gulls and Wolverines struggled from the field to start the game but SU (1-13, 1-4 CAC) would take a four point lead, 8-4, on a jumper by Charlton. Wesley would answer with an 8-0 run to take a six-point lead with a little under 10 minutes left in the first half. The Wolverines took a 10-point lead twice in the first half as Wesley led 29-21 at the half.

Salisbury began the second frame on a solid note as junior forward Janay Johnson (six points, four rebounds) made a lay-up eight seconds in. Wesley's Colleen Thomas (15 points) capped a 15-2 run to extend the Wolverine lead to 19 points, 44-25. SU battled back and cut the lead to eight at the 9:42 mark on a jumper by freshman guard Meghan Dunn. Wesley pulled away down the stretch to close out the game.

Wesley (7-6, 3-1 CAC) was guided by four players who tallied at least 14 points. Owens tallied a double-double with a game-high 18 points and 11 rebounds. Cory Boyd and Thomas each had 15 points while Latasha Torres added 14 points in the win.

Salisbury will return home for the first of a two-game set against Gallaudet University on Saturday, January 17, at 2 p.m. SU won both contests versus the Bison last season.
