MINNEAPOLIS – After making a splash for the Sea Gulls over the holiday break, guard Lauren Fortescue of the Salisbury University women's basketball team was named to the D3Hoops.com Team of the Week for the three weeks ending on Jan. 2.
Fortescue, a senior from Norristown, Pa., averaged 20 points, four rebounds, 3.5 steals and two assists over the Sea Gulls' two victories against William Smith and Pfeiffer at the Jamie L.
