SALISBURY, Md. – The Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) and the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) released their 2022-23 All-Academic Teams on Thursday and Salisbury University totaled 213 scholar-athletes represented on the teams.

A total of 61.8 percent (191-of-309) of SU student-athletes in C2C championship sports were represented on the all-academic team to finish third among full-time conference members. It is the fifth consecutive year that Salisbury had over 50 percent of student-athletes on the conference all-academic team and it's the second straight year that Salisbury had over 60 percent of student-athletes represented on the C2C honor roll.

Salisbury football qualified 22 student-athletes on the NJAC All-Academic Team. It was the third consecutive year that SU football had 20 or more representatives on the NJAC academic list.

Combined with the Coastal Lacrosse Conference Academic Honor Roll for men's lacrosse, Salisbury had 238 student-athletes earn conference all-academic honors. 56.5 percent (238-of-421) of eligible student-athletes (above a 3.2 GPA) qualified for one of the three conference all-academic lists.

Student-athletes in one or more C2C championship sports that attain a 3.20 grade point average (GPA) for the academic year earn a spot on the C2C All-Academic team. A total of 60.3 percent of C2C student-athletes posted a 3.20 GPA in the 2022-23 academic year (950-of-1576).

To be eligible for the NJAC All-Academic team, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore and compete in a conference-sponsored sport while also maintaining a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.20. A total of 1,202 student-athletes qualified for the NJAC All-Academic Team.
