GREENWOOD, Ind. – Nine Salisbury University student-athletes across three sports earned College Sports Communicators (CSC) Division III At-Large Academic All-District honors,
revealed by the organization on Tuesday.
The SU men's lacrosse team claimed three spots on the men's at-large team, landing
Braden Glushakow,
Ty Keaton, and
Charlie White on the squad. Field Hockey landed three on the women's at-large roster in
Julia Frankis,
Christine Goetz, and
Emma Radebaugh, while Women's Lacrosse also placed three on the team in
Natalie Held,
Erin Scannell, and
Meridith Price.
Glushakow, a graduate student from Hebron, Md., earned a bachelor's degree in Marketing with a 4.0 grade-point average (GPA) before boasting a 3.90 GPA in his graduate studies pursuing a Master of Business Administration. The 2023 SU Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year is a member of the Clarke Honors College and has been enshrined into the Beta Gamma Sigma, Phi Kappa Phi, and Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Societies.
Glushakow was also recognized as a First-Team All-American by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA), scooping 31 ground balls while causing six turnovers and scoring a pair of goals.
Keaton, a junior from Fort Mill, S.C., holds a 3.52 GPA as an Environmental Studies major with a minor in Economics. He has earned four Dean's list selections while being chosen for membership in the Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society.
Keaton ranked second in the Coastal Lacrosse Conference (CLC) in shot percentage in 2024, placing 42.2 percent of his looks into the onion bag while finishing fourth on the team with 43 goals. Keaton caught fire late in the season, launching 10 goals in his final four games.
White, a senior from Rocky Hill, N.J., graduated with a 3.86 GPA as an Exercise Science major with a minor in Sports Medicine. In addition to holding membership in the Clarke Honors College and the Alpha Chi Sigma Honor Society, White
was named an NCSA All-American Strength and Conditioning Athlete of the Year.
White tallied career highs in goals (23) and points (26), scoring in 17 of his 22 appearances including five multi-goal efforts. The standout second-liner concluded the season with a five-game scoring streak.
Frankis, a senior from Bel Air, Md., joined Goetz, Radebaugh, and 13 other teammates on the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) National Academic Squad, earning a 3.71 GPA as a Chemistry major with a concentration in Pre-Health and minors in Biology and Psychology.
Frankis has presented Environmental Chemistry and Inorganic Chemistry research at multiple conferences while being named the Outstanding Undergraduate in Biochemistry and Chemical Biology for the graduating class. She appeared in 18 games with 12 starts and scored her second career goal in 2024.
Goetz, a senior from Eldersburg, Md., carries a 3.81 GPA in her studies of Exercise Science on the Allied Health track with a minor in Psychology. She is a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and has earned seven Dean's list selections while also
being named the Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) Scholar-Athlete of the Year this season.
Goetz was a key piece of the Salisbury defense that pitched nine shutouts in 2024, starting in every game her team played for the third consecutive season. She collected NFHCA All-Region honors and was picked for the organization's senior team following the campaign.
Radebaugh, a junior from New Freedom, Pa., was
dubbed an NFHCA Division III Scholar of Distinction, boasting a 3.99 GPA while studying Political Science with minors in Psychology and Conflict Analysis and Dispute Resolution. A recent inductee into the Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society, Radebaugh serves as the vice president of the One Love and Political Science clubs at Salisbury.
Radebaugh finished fourth on the team with six goals while adding a pair of assists, netting three game-winners in 2024. Her best outing came in the season opener when she piled up three scores to go with one helper in the win.
Held, a junior from Ellicott City, Md., was named the SU's Female Scholar-Athlete of 2024 with a 3.91 GPA as an Exercise Science major on the Allied Health track. In addition to serving on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, Held is a member of the Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society and has earned six Dean's list selections.
Held was named the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Division III Defender of the Year after a banner season donning the maroon and gold. Held logged 83 draw controls, 55 ground balls, and 40 caused turnovers, setting career-highs in each figure on her way to earning First-Team All-American honors from the IWLCA and USA Lacrosse Magazine.
Scannell, a graduate student from Fallston, Md., earned a 3.72 GPA as an Early Childhood Education major with a minor in Communications. She graduated Magna Cum Laude this spring, earning nine Dean's list selections in her SU tenure.
Scannell etched her name deeper into the Salisbury record books, taking second in career goals with a first-quarter strike against Cabrini in the second round of the NCAA tournament. She was named to the IWLCA All-Chesapeake Region Second Team after firing 38 goals and contributing a career-high 11 helpers.
Price, a senior from Street, Md., holds a 3.84 GPA as an Exercise Science major with a minor in Chemistry. She holds membership in the Phi Kappa Phi and Chi Omega Honor Societies while being picked for the Dean's list in every semester of her Salisbury career.
Price did it all in the Sea Gull midfield, starting all 22 games with career marks in goals (17), assists (12), draw controls (54), ground balls (22), and caused turnovers (19). She joined Scannell on the All-Chesapeake Region Second Team for her efforts.
Of Salisbury's nine At-Large Academic All-District selections, three (Glushakow, Goetz, and Scannell) are now back-to-back honorees after
landing on the All-District list last season.
Glushakow advanced to the Men's At-Large Academic All-America national ballot, while Held, Scannell, Goetz, and Price earned spots on the women's ballot. The women's Academic All-America team honorees will be announced on Tuesday, July 16, while the men's teams will be released on Wednesday, July 17.
