Bodmer qualifies for NCAA Cross Country National Championships

SALISBURY, Md. – After finishing in the top 15 at Saturday's regional race, Salisbury University women's cross country athlete Anna Bodmer has qualified for the 2025 NCAA Division III National Championship race, which will be held on Saturday, Nov. 22, in Spartanburg, SC.

Bodmer, a junior from Dickerson, Md., finished tenth at the Mid-Atlantic Regional race in Newville, Pa., on Saturday, earning All-Region honors with a time of 22:02.7.

She qualified for the championship race as an individual at-large selection, one of seven qualifying runners from the Mid-Atlantic region who will go to South Carolina independently of their teams.

Bodmer, along with earning All-Region, earned First Team All-Conference from the C2C. In the Coast-to-Coast Championship race, Bodmer placed second with a personal best time of 21:26.1, leading her team to a third-place finish. Earlier in the season, Bodmer won the Don Cathcart Invitational and the CNU Invitational with times of 21:39.9 and 22:21.8, respectively.

"We are so proud and excited for Anna to have earned this opportunity," Head Coach Jim Jones said. "She has worked so hard and improved so much since her arrival on campus.  This will be a great experience for her to continue to grow as a student athlete."
