SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Salisbury University women's cross country athlete
Anna Bodmer competed in the 2025 NCAA Division III National Championship race on Saturday afternoon at the Milliken Research Park in Spartanburg, S.C.
Bodmer completed the Championship 6k with a time of 23:05.9, placing 138th out of 290 runners nationwide. Bodmer, a junior from Dickerson, Md., finished 10th at the Mid-Atlantic Regional race in Newville, Pa., last Saturday, earning All-Region honors with a time of 22:02.7. She qualified for the championship race as an individual at-large selection. Bodmer, along with earning All-Region, posted a personal record time of 21:26.1 for 2
nd place and First Team All-Conference honors at the C2C Championships. She also finished the NCAA Championships as the Conference's top finisher.
"Anna ran a very strong race for her first time at the NCAA XC Championships," head coach
Jim Jones said. "She was the top C2C conference finisher and represented our conference and Salisbury University very well. I know she will use this experience at future championships."
