SALISBURY, Md. – Presenting Roadie Joes Rankings for the fourth Wednesday in November, featuring top-10 championship metrics for Salisbury men's swimming and women's swimming.
Men's Swimming – 7th | Swimcloud Division III Championship Meet Team Rankings
Salisbury vaulted into the top 10 with a quality-of-swims metric of 645.98, good for seventh between traditional powers Johns Hopkins (647.44) and Emory (644.07). SU's metric in the dual meet rankings (680.10) also pegs them at seventh.
The Sea Gulls dominated all three days of the eight-team Yellow Jacket Invitational, winning their second straight title at the midseason meet by a margin of nearly 700 points.
Mason Potts reeled in five gold medals and seven medals overall en route to his third New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Swimmer of the Week award, while
Owen Mahoney became the third SU rookie this season to garner NJAC Rookie of the Week.
Salisbury is off over Thanksgiving week before returning to Maggs Pool for the final time in the 2025 calendar year against UMBC on Saturday, Dec. 6, at 1 p.m.
Women's Swimming – 9th | Swimcloud Division III Championship Meet Team Rankings
Salisbury slingshotted into the top 10 with a quality-of-swims metric of 594.86, just behind Pomona-Pitzer (598.05) and ahead of a powerhouse Denison (585.88) program. SU's dual meet metric (628.85) slots them at 13th.
The Sea Gulls rolled to a Yellow Jacket Invitational crown, topping the field of eight teams by over 150 points.
Rowan O'Donoghue continued to be a revelation between the lanes, claiming six gold medals and one silver and locking down her fifth consecutive NJAC Rookie of the Week title.
Salisbury will take the Thanksgiving weekend off and hit Maggs Pool for the last time in 2025 to take on UMBC on Saturday, Dec. 6, at 1 p.m.
