Jersey Mike’s A Sub Above Players of the Week | Dec. 8-14, 2025

SALISBURY, Md. – Two Salisbury University student-athletes secured Jersey Mike's A Sub Above Players of the Week status with weekly honors from the Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C), as Leon Elung and Nicole Miller gave the Sea Gulls a sweep of the C2C's Basketball Player of the Week rolls.
 
Leon Elung | C2C Men's Basketball Player of the Week | Second Career (First This Season)
Elung (Sr. – Columbia, Md.) averaged 10.5 points on .476 shooting (10-of-21) with 8.5 rebounds over 30.5 minutes as part of a pair of Sea Gull road victories on the week. On Wednesday at St. Mary's (Md.), he notched 10 points and hauled in eight boards to help SU prevail 77-66. Then in Saturday's overtime thriller at Widener, Elung went for 11 points and nine rebounds as SU took an 80-75 dub.
 
Nicole Miller | C2C Women's Basketball Player of the Week | Fourth Career (Second This Season)
Miller (Jr. – Medford, N.J.) repeated as the C2C's top player for the week after a strong night to lead the Sea Gulls past Virginia Wesleyan, 88-68, on Wednesday. She went for 18 points on 6-of-14 shooting, including a 5-for-6 mark from the free throw line, and secured four rebounds over just 23 minutes to help SU improve to 7-3 on the season. Miller leads the league in scoring with 17.5 points per contest, nearly two full points better than her next-closest competitor.
