MANAHAWKIN, N.J. — Six Division III coaching staffs have been recognized as their respective region's
2025 NFHCA Coaching Staff of the Year. Each of the honorees was selected by a majority vote of their regional colleagues.
The Salisbury University field hockey program earned the Region III Coaching Staff of the Year award. Head coach
Dawn Chamberlin and assistant coaches
Lindsey Barbacow, Brooke Tapman Lohr, Megan Block, and
Hanna Tilghman helped clinch the first SUNYAC Championship title as a first-year associate member and advanced to the NCAA Tournament quarterfinals for the fourth straight year, finishing their 2025 campaign at 19-3 overall.
SU placed seven Sea Gulls on the All-SUNYAC Team and four on the NFHCA All-Region Team. The program also led the nation in shutouts (16), ranked No. 2 in goals-against average (0.49), tied for No. 5 nationally in goals per game (4.0), and tied for No. 6 nationally in winning percentage (0.864).
While the
National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) officially recognizes each institution's field hockey coaches, the association acknowledges the important work of all staff members who contribute to a program's success.
The 2025
NFHCA Division III National Coaching Staff of the Year will be announced on Thursday, January 15, 2026 at the NFHCA Hall of Fame Awards Dinner, sponsored by AstroTurf®, during the
