Winebrenner tabbed as ECAC Player of the Year; joins Burroughs on All-ECAC team

DANBURY, Conn. – Two members of the seventh-ranked Salisbury University baseball team were tabbed for the 2025 All-Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) baseball team, as revealed by the organization on Friday. Catcher Dylan Winebrenner was named ECAC Player of the Year, while outfielder Noah Burroughs joined Winebrenner on the All-ECAC Team.

Winebrenner (Sr. – Frederick, Md.) continues his major postseason haul after already earning Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) Player of the Year and consensus All-Region First Team accolades. He posted a .356/.444/.655 slash line with 14 doubles, four triples, 10 home runs, 54 RBIs, 49 runs scored, eight stolen bases, and a team-leading 1.099 OPS while playing in all 44 games and starting 43; he also provided stellar defense behind the plate, catching 10-of-15 runners stealing. Winebrenner's campaign ranks him just outside the top 10 in SU history in single-season homers, RBIs, and total bases (114).

Burroughs (Fr. – Millsboro, Del.) started all 44 games and provided more than solid protection for Winebrenner in the heart of the order. He slashed .384/.436/.655 with 13 doubles, four triples, nine homers, 57 RBIs, 48 runs, 15 steals, and an OPS of 1.091. Burroughs – who ranks fifth in single-season Sea Gull history in RBIs and seventh in total bases (116) – adds All-ECAC laurels to his own All-C2C and consensus All-Region First Team nods.

With Winebrenner and Burroughs supplying much of the team's power throughout 2025, the Sea Gulls finished 34-10 with their fourth C2C title in five years and a fifth consecutive NCAA regional championship.
