AUSTIN, Texas – Two Sea Gulls joined elite company on Tuesday afternoon as
Emma Radebaugh of SU field hockey and
Audrey Harrington of SU women's lacrosse were selected to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America Women's At-Large Second Team.
Radebaugh, a senior forward/midfielder from New Freedom, Pa., graduated with a 4.0 GPA as a Political Science major with minors in History, Psychology and Gender & Sexuality Studies. The four-time National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Scholar of Distinction is no stranger to elite academic accolades as she
won the Elite 90 Award for holding the highest GPA among all student-athletes competing at the 2024 DIII Field Hockey championship site. In addition, she earned the Justin Y. Shen Memorial Award for excellence and leadership in political science and holds membership in the Omicron Delta Kappa and Chi Alpha Sigma honor societies.
Radebaugh participated in the Model UN Club including a role as delegate on the Security Council at the Model UN Conference in New York City. She also served as the Vice President of SU's Political Science Club and the Treasurer of the One Love Club on campus, coordinating numerous panels and events.
On the field in 2024, Radebaugh tallied seven goals and put 17 of her 27 shots on cage for a 63 percent clip to help her team reach the 16th national semifinal in program history. The transfer from Division I Fairfield posted 13 goals including two game-winning strikes and a pair of assists across her two seasons donning the maroon and gold.
Harrington, a junior attacker from Ellicott City, Md., concluded her junior year with a 4.0 GPA in her studies as an Exercise Science major. In addition to conducting energy expenditure research with Dr. Mazzetti, she also holds membership in the Phi Kappa Phi and Delta Alpha Phi honors societies.
Off the field, Harrington serves on the executive board for SU's Exercise Science club. She also joins her teammates regularly in volunteer efforts at the Humane Society, Crown Sports Center for the Special Olympics of Maryland, and the Sea Gull Century bike race on campus.
Harrington's accolades are just as impressive on the field, with her team-high 76 points on 34 goals and 42 assists helping guide the Sea Gulls to the regional final for the eighth time in the last 10 years. She posted four game-winning goals including the winning tally in a 9-8 thriller over Haverford in the second round of 2025's Big Dance. She was
recognized as a Second-Team All-American by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) and
crowned the C2C Offensive Player of the Year for her efforts.
Radebaugh and Harrington become the 52nd and 53rd student-athletes in the history of Salisbury University athletics to be named Academic All-Americans, joining
Jordan Oates of SU men's basketball in the 2025 class. Women's lacrosse saw a second Sea Gull secure the honor in as many years after
Natalie Held was crowned SU's 49th Academic All-American in 2024. The men's at-large Academic All-America teams will be revealed tomorrow.
