NEW ORLEANS – All-Region honorees for the
2026 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field season were announced yesterday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). The Salisbury University track & field program posted 16 All-Region honorees from the indoor season to the Mid-Atlantic team.
The top-8 individuals in each event from each region on the year-end Descending Order Lists earned an All-Region distinction, in addition to each member of the region's top-8 relay teams. Salisbury posted three relay teams and 13 individual honors.
The men's 4x400 relay team of
Andrew Osler, Hayden Myers, Sean McHugh, and
Samuel Bradley posted an All-Region time of 3:20.66 at the All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference Meet. They also earned First-Team All-C2C, grabbing gold with a time of 3:24.47. The men's distance medley relay team of
Connor Kinch, Hayden Myers, Justin Freeman, and
Cormac Moroney struck gold with a school record and C2C record time of 10:26.60. That time earned them All-C2C First Team and placed them 23rd in the country. On the women's relay side, the 4x400 relay team of
Marlyse Haack, Karia Forvil, Jenna Howe, and
Emma Smyser earned First-Team All-C2C, grabbing gold with a time of 4:02.99, for All-Region honors.
On the men's side of the All-Region team,
Kai Smith led the way with two nods in the 60-meter and the 200-meter. Smith, the Upper Marlboro, Md. native, is coming off C2C Track Athlete of the Meet and tallied gold in the 60-meter dash with a time of 6.78, earning First-Team All-C2C. He also went on to earn Gold in the 200-meter with a time of 21.68. He smoked the school record in the 60-meter prelims with a time of 6.70, which tallied as a C2C meet record. That time placed him 3rd in the country. He also won a pair of events in record time at the Staten Island-based Big Apple Invitational, breaking the tape in the 60-meter dash (6.74) and the 200-meter dash (21.18). Smith became just the second-ever Sea Gull to be named National Athlete of the Week during the indoor season and the first since 11-time national champion Luke Campbell won it on Feb. 2, 2016. Smith will be joined by
Gavin Shaffer once again at the NCAA Indoor Championships, as the two also competed there last year. Shaffer, a native of Timonium, Md., earned his qualification also at the Big Apple Invitation with a time of 8.08 in the 60-meter hurdles and also earned All-Region.
Also on the men's side, they added four more All-Region honors.
Jon Alicea struck gold in the triple jump at 14.37 meters (47-01.75), which placed him 31st in the country and earned him First-Team All-C2C at the Coast-to-Coast 2026 Indoor Championships.
Justin Freeman tallied second place with a time of 1:53.41 at the All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference Meet. He also grabbed silver in the 800-meter with a time of 1:55.05, earning Second-Team All-C2C.
Logan Kelsch earned silver and All-C2C Second Team with a throw of 16.15 meters (53-00.00) for his All-Region nod.
Cormac Moroney earned bronze in the mile with a time of 4:21.79 at the C2C Indoor Championships before heading to the All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference Meet and grabbed first place with a school record time of 4:14.02.
On the women's side of the All-Region team,
Mia Hill, the senior from Tabernacle, N.J. toppled her own school record in the long jump at 5.68 meters (18-07.75), which placed her fourth at the All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference Meet inside The Nike Track & Field Center at The Armory, Fort Washington Avenue this past weekend to qualify. Haack, the senior from Waretown, N.J., also earned her qualification at the All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference Meet with a first-place finish and a school record jump of 11.95 meters (39-02.50) in the triple jump, which placed her 8th in the country for Division III. As well as earning Coast-to-Coast All-Conference honors, these two were named USTFCCCA All-Region for the Mid-Atlantic Region. Hill earned the honor in the long jump, while Haack tallied both long jump and triple jump honors.
Karia Forvil also earned two All-Region honors in the 60-meter and the 200-meter. She earned bronze in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.87. She went on to earn All-C2C Second-Team with a second-place finish in the 200-meter with a time of 25.76.
Anna Bodmer blistered the 5000-meter school record with a time of 17:14.60, which placed her third at the All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference Meet. Bodmer was also named Female Track Athlete of the Meet at the C2C 2026 Indoor Championships by earning a C2C Indoor Meet Record in the 5000-meter run, finishing with a time of 17:46.19, which earned her gold and First-Team All-C2C honors. She also grabbed gold in the 3000-meter run with a time of 10:07.60.

Mia Hill (long jump) have punched their tickets to compete among the nation's best athletes on March 13-14 at the Birmingham Crossplex in Birmingham, Ala. in the upcoming 2026 NCAA Division III Indoor Championships.
