Hackett personified the role of floor general during her four years in the Sea Gull backcourt, graduating with the women's basketball program's second-most career points (1,802) and third-most assists (515). As a senior in 2014-15, she was the main attraction for an SU team that went 28-3, won the CAC championship, and made its deepest-ever NCAA Tournament run by reaching the Elite Eight.
That 2015 season saw Hackett earn All-America nods from the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) and D3hoops.com, as well as D3hoops.com Mid-Atlantic Region Player of the Year and CAC Player of the Year. Hackett was named CAC Rookie of the Year in 2012, made All-CAC four times (2012-15), and slotted on a trio of Mid-Atlantic All-Region sides (2013-15).
