Salisbury Athletics Hall of Fame
Rodriguez proved a brick wall in goal for the Sea Gulls for three seasons, helping Salisbury capture the program’s ninth national championship in 2011 and reach the NCAA title game in 2010. In the 2011 finals, he made four saves during SU’s 19-7 win over Tufts; the 12-goal margin of victory remains the best of the program’s 13 title game wins. SU reached three consecutive NCAA Tournaments with Rodriguez on the roster and took home two CAC crowns in 2009 and 2011.
Rodriguez earned United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) All-America recognition in 2010 and 2011, taking home USILA National Goalie of the Year laurels in 2011. He was also named First-Team All-CAC in those two seasons. Rodriguez graduated fourth in Sea Gull history with 479 career saves (now fifth).
