Salisbury Athletics Hall of Fame
Scott Burtzlaff, along with Evan Thomas, put together one of the best careers in SU men's tennis history. Burtzlaff totaled six All-Capital Athletic Conference (CAC, now Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference) First Team awards with four All-CAC First Team honors in singles. The CAC Rookie of the Year in 2007 and CAC Player of the Year in 2009 was a national qualifier in singles in 2010 and a two-time national qualifier in doubles. Burtzlaff and Thomas were ITA All-Americans in 2010. Burtzlaff was ranked nationally all four years at SU and finished the 2010 season as the ninth-ranked duo in the nation with Thomas.
