Doug Fleetwood (Class of 2020)

One of the winningest coaches in NCAA baseball history, Fleetwood spent 14 seasons in the dugout for SU from 2001-14. He totaled a 478-147-6 record during his tenure with the sixth-highest win percentage in Division III and 14th-highest across all three divisions.

Fleetwood's teams won the CAC Championship 12 times with a berth in the NCAA Tournament in each of his 14 years. The Sea Gulls won four regional championships and made four appearances in the NCAA College World Series. Fleetwood won the ABCA Regional Coach of the Year after the 2008 and 2014 seasons and collected 10 CAC Coach of the Year awards.

He was inducted into the Maryland State Association of Baseball Coaches Hall of Fame and Eastern Shore Baseball Hall of Fame for his career in the collegiate and high school ranks at Cambridge-South Dorchester.

Currently, Fleetwood is the offensive line coach and recruiting coordinator for the Salisbury football team. He is in his 21st season on the football staff. In 2002, he was inducted into the Maryland Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
