Pat Brannan was a standout linebacker for the SU football team for four seasons. Brannan was a three-time All-Atlantic Central Football Conference linebacker with first-team honors in 2000 and 2002. Brannan holds the all-time career tackles record for SU with 331 stops and graduated second in tackles for loss with 31 tackles (now ninth). The three-time team Defensive MVP and team captain helped the Sea Gulls qualify for its first NCAA Tournament in 16 years in 2002.
