A master of the center circle, Bethany Baer set the pace for the Sea Gulls across four CAC championships, three straight NCAA Tournament finals (2012-14), and back-to-back national titles in 2013 and 2014. She graduated with the program's second-most career draw controls (148) and fourth-most ground balls (114) despite missing all but six games of her senior season due to injury.

Baer repeatedly rose to the occasion in the biggest moments, making three NCAA All-Tournament Teams and garnering Most Outstanding Player in 2014. She made a pair of Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) All-America First Teams (2013-14), plus two All-Region First Teams and a trio of All-CAC sides (2013-15). Baer was also dubbed Preseason National Player of the Year by Lacrosse Magazine in 2015.
